This page is meant to be a site for guides on real estate topics but it still under construcion. Instead of let this page empty, I think why not I give you some walkaround about this site.

This thing happened when I wandering around the internet to find some calculators to ease my tasks. But I can't find the right tools to work with. Then I start building my own spreadsheet using Google Sheets with all the automated calculation done beforehand. It is easier to access but still quite a hassle. After some disappointments:-

The Story

Let's first define CitRoof. When I start developing this site, I unconsciously using orange color as theme. I just stuck using the color as it is easy to just write 'orange' than need to use the hex color code to pick my desire color. ('red' is shorter right but sakit mata tengok).

I want to integrate this tools inside my own personal website iqbalbasirudin.com but then I found that you can transform your website into something called 'Progressive Web App' (PWA). It let your mobile browser to install the site into the device apps drawer (add to homescreen for ios) and operate as standalone to mimic the native apps operation.

I'm not a programmer, nor do I have a programming background. But I find it manageable to build the app myself rather than hire a programmer (real one) to build it for us. So I just find some lesson online and start building it. Disclaimer: I'm not fully write the code myself but most of the code I just copy and paste lol. But hey, it's not plug and play. You need to have some knowledge to know where to paste it on the right place. However, I do figure out the calculators' formula calculation by myself.

So now I know that this site will be a 'mobile app' so I need to name it properly. After some time brainstorming, this is the 'mind-map': the usage of orange color > orange fruit related to citrus. To make it relatable with real estate, replace 'rus' with something rhymes which is 'roof' then that's how CitRoof exist. I had a good laugh with myself when I came out with this.

The Walkaround

As you can see, on bottom we have 5 menu, starts from left -

Featured - This is page for featured properties because you know, I am a Real Estate Negotiator so it basically an advertisement space. Still empty for now.

Tools - This is our tools box. You can access all the calculators and tools for your convenient. It supposed to work offline. If not, let me know or maybe I am working on it.

Home - I believed it's self-explanatory.

Feeds> - We are here now. As I mentioned earlier, it is meant for real estate basic guides, tips, and what not. Right, like a blog.

Resources - Think this as a library. Where I share documents like legals acts, regulations, templates for agreements, etc. If you have some documents that you think public should have easy access to, reach me out.

Now onto the top part, on the left, we have i-icon. Ermm... Take a look yourself and don't forget to follow me. On the right side, we have dark-mode toggle but it's not functioning, yet. Working on it.
